How do I qualify for cashback?
Cardholders must visit mastercard.ie/registertoget and register by providing their full name, email address, and full 16-digit Mastercard card number and pressing “Register now”. The first 20,000 cardholders to register and make 3x Qualifying Purchases with their registered Mastercard card will receive € 10.00 (ten Euros) Cashback. Only one Cashback reward per Mastercard card.
Can I register more than one Mastercard?
There is no limit on the number of Mastercard cards that can be registered per cardholder. Only one Cashback reward per Mastercard card. Only one Cashback reward per Mastercard card.
Do all of my Mastercard transactions qualify?
Any transactions or purchases made on gambling or betting sites, cash withdrawals, balance transfers or any transactions which are subsequently requested to be refunded or reversed will not be counted as Qualifying Purchases.
Once registered, can I opt-out?
In order to terminate the participation in the promotion campaign, the Cardholder should reach out to co-support@mastercard.com. The processing of the opt-out may take up to 15 business days to be completed, meaning that upon its completion the scoring of transactions will have been stopped and such card will not be eligible to get the cashback.
How many Cashback rewards are available?
There will be a maximum of 20,000 x €10.00 (ten Euros) Cashback rewards available during the Promotional Period.
How will the Cashback be paid to me?
Cashback will be paid directly into the registered card within 10 working days of the third Qualifying Purchase.

Am I able to use someone else’s card to enter?
Those who register on someone else’s behalf will be disqualified, at the Promoter’s discretion.
What happens if I enter incorrect details?
Cardholders who do not give correct details will be disqualified, at the Promoter’s discretion. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for cardholders failing to supply accurate information which affects fulfilment.
How will I know when I receive my reward?
Cardholders will also be notified by email via the details provided on registration within 10 working days of the third Qualifying Purchase, to be informed that their Cashback will be paid directly into their bank account.
What happens if something goes wrong with the campaign?
The Promoter has no control over internet or communication networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter will not be held liable to any individual for any fraud committed by any third party nor for any event beyond its control including, but not limited to, user error and any network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict, delay or prevent a participant’s involvement.
Will I need to provide additional identification?
The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for proof of address and ID (passport, driving licence or equivalent) and to refuse to award the Cashback or withdraw Cashback entitlement where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions.
Who is eligible to enter in the competition?
Open to Republic of Ireland residents aged 18 or over, holding a valid consumer Mastercard® card excluding employees and their immediate families of Mastercard (the “Promoter”), its subsidiaries, other group companies, its agents, or anyone else professionally connected with this campaign. Maestro Cards are excluded.
How will the Covid pandemic affect the campaign?
If fulfilment or any element of this campaign will be delayed or affected due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic and resulting government restrictions, all cardholders affected will be contacted by the Promoter and kept updated of any unavoidable changes to the promotional dates, revised fulfilment dates or rewards.
How will I know how many transactions I have made?
Participants will be able to email co-support@mastercard.com for information regarding their entry and purchases.

Will the purchases made with gadgets (e.g. Apple Pay) be counted as eligible?
Yes. The purchases which match the promotion rules criteria and made with smartphones or other gadgets via the payment wallets will be counted as eligible ones (just the same way if you paid with your physical card).
Can I register Mastercard card issued by bank not registered in the Republic of Ireland?
No, the promotion campaign is available for Mastercard cards issued by banks in in the Republic of Ireland.
