Plattduetsche Park

Established in 1939 on Hempstead Turnpike, Plattduetsche Park Restaurant and Biergarten serves German specialties alongside a diverse menu of steaks, seafood, and desserts like apfel strudel and black forest cake. Signature dishes include schweinehaxe, sauerbraten, a variety of schnitzels, house-made spätzle, and a ten-inch Munich pretzel. Dining takes place in a classic beer hall or the expansive biergarten, widely regarded as Long Island’s largest.
