The Formosa Cafe

Opened in 1939 and frequented by stars such as Frank Sinatra and Humphrey Bogart, The Formosa Cafe preserves Hollywood history with restored red leather booths, a 1904 trolley car and walls of autographed photographs. Its menu revisits Formosa’s culinary arc since the 1920s, while the Yee Mee Loo bar, curated by Arthur Dong, honors Chinese American contributions.
