Since 1998, the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding (SMCCU) has been bridging cultural gaps with the motto "Open Doors. Open Minds." Located in a traditional windtower house in Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, the SMCCU offers Emirati cultural programs, including meals that combine the local cuisine with engaging conversations.
