The Capitol Theatre

The Capitol Theatre is a historic and iconic venue in New York. The venue opened in 1926 as a movie palace before being renovated in the late 1960s into a legendary rock concert venue. It hosted numerous famous acts, including the Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, and Pink Floyd, before later being used as a catering hall and undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation to return to its role as a premier concert hall.
