Kakuru

Elina studied economics and traveled to London for her master's degree. She was planning to get in the family business but soon she realized that she wanted to make her dream come true. Three years ago, she opened her own shop, doing what she had always loved. To design and make her own jewelry with materials from her hometown.

The visibility of the shop has exceeded by far the borders of her hometown through her participation in the Mastercard campaign that supports new local entrepreneurship.

She believes that small businesses are priceless because usually the people involved in them do everything to make this business work. If she had to give some advice to other small business owners, that would be "to love what you do. Otherwise, it doesn't make sense to share it with someone else."

You can find Kakuru Jewelry in the heart of Athens, Petraki 24 Str., Syntagma and online at www.kakuru.gr/
