Influenced by her Chinese and Sri Lankan heritage, as well as her on-the-go lifestyle, Sashee Chandran, founded Tea Drops of Los Angeles, California, in 2015. Since its founding, Tea Drops has worked diligently to not only provide dissolvable, organic shaped teas, but also, to support organic production, fair trade wages, clean water aid, and American Made. Some of Tea Drops’ recent successes include being named the Most Innovative Beverage by the Specialty Food Association, and gaining the support of prominent figures such as Tory Burch, Michelle Obama, and Oprah Magazine.
