Vladimír Weigert was born in Prague. He studied cultural anthropology and Mongolian at Charles University in Prague. He has travelled a lot mainly around his beloved Mongolia and China. After some years in advertising he left his office job and decided to do something he is really into. His love for his home town, food and history brought about the idea of sharing it with others.
