Palacio de Liria

The Palacio de Liria is one of the most iconic Palaces-Residence in Spain and the only one in the capital. Between its walls it houses one of the most exclusive private art collections in Spain. The Palacio de Liria was built between 1767 and 1785, on behalf of the III Duke of Berwick and Liria, Don Jacobo Fitz-James Stuart; and collects the history of one of the most distinguished lineages in Spain and one of the most valued art collections. The artistic heritage it preserves has witnessed some of the most important events in the world.
