Bier- und Oktoberfestmuseum

The Beer and Oktoberfest Museum: Hidden away in the winding Sterneckerstraße, behind house number 2, just off Tal between Marienplatz and Isartor, is a real treasure trove of Bavarian tradition – the oldest town house in Munich with a history dating back to 1340. Home to burghers, merchants and craftsmen for centuries, the heritage-protected building now houses a permanent exhibition of two cornerstones of Bavarian culture: beer and Oktoberfest.
