GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter Camila Cabello gave fans around the world a musical treat Wednesday when she performed her first of two concerts-at-home.
Countless number of fans joined Camila at home for part one of the intimate acoustic session featuring classic hits along with songs from her latest album, Romance, that have never before been performed live.
“I was thinking about the Romance tour and how we were all bummed out that that couldn’t happen,” she said during the livestream. “If we can’t have that in person, I want to give them some kind of concert experience at home.”
The set included “Never Be the Same” and “Dream of You” as well as a medley of three songs, “Should've Said It,” “Havana,” and “Bad Kind of Butterflies.”
“It’s supposed to be representative of our journey together so far—where we’ve been, where we are now, and where we’re going,” Cabello explained. “That’s the part that’s still unwritten.”
As she wrapped up, she mentioned her support of Mastercard’s efforts in the fight against COVID-19.
“I’m so proud to be working with Mastercard on this project and to help them support COVID-19 relief,” she said. “They’ve been supporting small businesses with new resources and supporting the Gates Foundation in its treatment research.”
