Bake Traditional Goan Bread at Da Tita Restaurant
Join a hands-on baking class at Da Tita Restaurant to learn traditional Goan bread-making techniques with an expert village baker
More...The Experience
Explore the origins of breadmaking in Goa. You'll visit the first village where bread was baked in the state and step into a rustic bakery to try it yourself. A 75-year-old local baker will take you through the steps of making pão (the Portuguese word for bread), including using toddy—alcoholic palm tree sap—to make the dough rise, a traditional technique rarely used today but steeped in regional history. Once your loaf is baked, you'll use it to craft a scrumptious panini. Exclusively for Mastercard cardholders.
