Volcanic Air
Established in 1992 on the shores of Lake Rotorua, Volcanic Air operates a mixed fleet of both helicopters and the region's only floatplanes. The versatility of these aircraft allows visitors to access remote destinations difficult to reach by other means. Key destinations include New Zealand's only permanently active volcano, White Island, where Volcanic Air holds one of the few concessions to explore this marvel of nature.
