Juan Manuel Umbert y Janice Buraschi
Juan Manuel Umbert and Janice Buraschi are a pair of Peruvian chefs who met in Lima and decided to travel to London together to study culinary arts. Since then, their passion for gastronomy has led them to work in restaurants across London, New York, and Lima, as well as to explore various corners of Italy.
It was during these travels through Italy that they found the inspiration to create PASTA. They were struck by how, even in the simplest of places, they could enjoy incredible food—crafted by hand using top-quality ingredients—at accessible prices.
With this vision in mind, PASTA was born: a restaurant where they aim to share everything they love most about Italian cuisine, featuring fresh, handmade pasta, excellent ingredients, and, above all, a deep, heartfelt passion for what they do.
