Tucked behind a banchan shop in Long Island City, this intimate counter spot feels as much like a lesson in Korean fermentation as it does a restaurant. Traditional ingredients such as doenjang, gochujang, ganjang, and ssamjang shape dishes featuring silky tofu, Miyazaki beef, and Niman Ranch pork, served on handmade Korean clay. A bowl of rice with kimchi adds a quietly meaningful touch.
