The Tavern at Reynolds

The Tavern at Reynolds occupies an Annapolis landmark building whose stone and brick walls, walk‑in fireplace, low ceilings and original 1737 stairwell recall its 18th‑century origins. The 1747 Pub sits in the former kitchen and hat shop, with a beer garden where the stables once stood and an old smoke house and magnolia tree on the property. Dining ranges from Traditional English Afternoon Tea—scones with cream and jam, finger sandwiches, savory tarts and tea cakes—to first‑floor dining rooms and an upper terrace serving seasonal plates that rework regional favorites such as broiled crab cake, shrimp linguini Chesapeake, grilled salmon over risotto and steak frites. A broad loose‑leaf tea selection accompanies a wine program honored by Wine Spectator for its seventh consecutive year.
