José Crested Butte is a modern Mexican restaurant focusing on Guadalajara and Oaxaca-inspired cuisine. Its menu offers a range of chef-driven dishes (think tacos, carnitas, and ceviche) served alongside an extensive tequila collection and cocktail menu that includes José’s famous Squozen margarita. Located at the base of Mt. Crested Butte at the Elevation Hotel & Spa, José offers a casual, inviting indoor and outdoor environment perfect for all-day, slope-side dining and après ski. José Crested Butte opened in August 2022 and is the second location from the award-winning José brand, which was founded in Dallas and is led by Executive Chef Anastacia Quiñones-Pittman.
