Our Executive Chef, Cristian Pontiggia, combines old world cooking techniques with modern, innovative recipes and artful plating. His dishes fully embrace the Inn’s Southwestern and native heritage and are consistently changing and adapting to reflect the freshest, most seasonal local ingredients. Lombardy native Chef Cristian has won numerous awards such as Chef of the Year in New Mexico 2023 from the New Mexico Restaurant Association, and also Chef of the Year in 2022 and 2023 from the American Culinary Federation. Most recently, he was a Semifinalist in the James Beard award competition for Best Chef of the Southwest. The restaurant has been awarded the Wine Spectator’s Best of Award of Excellence in 2023 and 2024, featuring the most exclusive wines from around the world.
