At Giordano's River's Edge the emphasis is on Chicago's stuffed deep-dish tradition brought to Indianapolis. Since 1974 the kitchen has made deep-dish pizzas that are slow-baked with double crusts, each stuffed pie hand-constructed by six pizza artisans and layered with Wisconsin mozzarella made for Giordano's; the result is a pie with pronounced, flaky crust and a dense, cheese-forward interior. The dining room's full bar complements a broad Italian-leaning menu that includes pastas, sandwiches, crisp salads and gluten-free options.
