Chef Marc Forgione

Chef Marc Forgione opened his first restaurant in 2008, the highly-acclaimed Tribeca favorite, Restaurant Marc Forgione, aka Forge. In May 2024 the restaurant, now called simply Forgione, moved into a new home around the corner on Hudson St. The new Forgione represents Marc’s evolution. It still showcases his innovative yet approachable New American cuisine, using the best seasonal and local ingredients, while also allowing for additional creativity with a larger kitchen and private dining room. Since its inception in 2008, Forge has earned two stars from the NY Times and a one star rating from Michelin. The restaurant has remained one of the best and most consistent restaurants in downtown Manhattan for the last 18 years.
