K9 Project Watchdog, a national project of the SANParks Honorary Rangers, provides support for the SANParks K9 Unit, one of the most effective deterrents against poaching. Started in 2012, it has grown monumentally. As a result of its success, the project has been extended to national parks beyond the Kruger National Park.
