Old Stamp House - JRE Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of the Lake District, the Old Stamp Houe is housed in the former office of William Wordsworth, the famous English poet. Opened in 2014 by brothers Ryan and Craig Blackburn, the restaurant showcases the food and cultural heritage of Cumbria and was recognised with its first Michelin star in 2019.
Old Stamp House is a member of the JRE (Jeunes Restaurateurs), an International association of young restaurateurs and chefs, whose aim is to share their talent and passion for food with like-minded individuals.
