Louvre Lens
The Louvre-Lens Museum opened on 4 December 2012 and is part of the cultural decentralisation initiative envisioned by President Jacques Chirac. With its Japanese-inspired architecture, landscape design, museography, and commitment to mediation and performing arts, the Louvre-Lens fosters dialogue in all its forms.
