Ruth Nibeth Martínez (Chachita)
Ruth Martínez leads several community initiatives to help people learn about the biodiversity of her territory and how to preserve it. Ruth is beginning the process of consolidating the Chicuí Natural Reserve (family land passed down through generations), which seeks to make the mangrove ecosystem a conservation target.
