Hannah Hidalgo

A Haddonfield, NJ native, Hannah Hidalgo is a freshman point guard at the University of Notre Dame. In her debut season, Hidalgo earned the prestigious titles of 2024 ACC Rookie of the Year and ACC Defensive Player of the Year, becoming the second-ever player in ACC history to achieve both honors during the same season. Capping off her freshman regular season, Hidalgo led Notre Dame to its first ACC Tournament title in five years and was named the tournament's MVP. During her freshman season, Hidalgo was named the ACC Rookie of the week a record 12 times and the ACC Player of the Week three times. She dominated the nation in steals and shattered both Notre Dame's single-steals record and the ACC freshman steals record. Hidalgo also led the ACC is points per game, set a new single-season ACC freshman scoring record, and is within the ACC's top three with assists per game. Hidalgo was named the 2023 USA Basketball Female Athlete of the Year for her U19 FIBA World Cup performance in Madrid where she helped lead Team USA to a Gold medal.
