Nikola Ogrodníková
Nikola Ogrodníková is a former heptathlon athlete and now a successful Czech javelin thrower, who has been taking turns on the sport's golden throne with Barbora Špotáková. Her long-time coach was the former national champion and Men's Javelin World record holder, Jan Železný. She has twice become Czech champion, won the 2020 Diamond League in London and become European vice-champion in Berlin in 2018, when she also won the title of Athlete of the Year. She also qualified for the final of the 2022 World Championships and claimed silver at the 2023 European Games. This year, she is fighting to compete in her second Summer Olympics in Paris.
