The earth's mantle thrusts up above the picturesque town of Franschhoek and creates a wild slice of untamed mountain on which sits the farm Wildeberg, resplendent in all its glory. Franschhoek has been an established wine region for some 350 years and it took some nerve to plant vines here on this hillside where the border runs over the top of the mountain and where the coastal region gives way to the Grabouw road and the wider Western Cape. Wildeberg is a truly hidden gem in the Franschhoek Valley which is why visitors who come here for the first time are always overwhelmed by the scenic beauty and mesmerising views, complemented by outstanding service and care from staff.
