Crama Rasova
The sun is best friends with the sea, spending over 2,100 hours a year in the Dobrogean sky, hours displayed daily on our solar clock at Crama Rasova, which we built precisely to celebrate it. The sun also finds its place in the Crama Rasova logo because it's an essential ingredient in nurturing our vines, along with the sandy soil and the breeze from the Danube, which together create a unique environment enjoyed by every grape.
In its absence, we enjoy the image of misty mornings over the landscape and the cool nights. And the grape varieties that thrive in these conditions include Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Fetească albă, Muscat Ottonel, Tamâioasă Românească, Fetească neagră, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah.
All these elements find their way into a bottle of wine. Choose the one that feels most suitable for you, pour the sun, the breeze, the mornings and the Dobrogean nights into a glass and experience them through taste.
It will be once upon a time, as stories we believe in often begin. And if you've never heard such a story, this is the very demonstration of it. So, we're not interested in repeating what has already been said. We're not interested in showing what has already been shown or doing what has already been done. We're interested in being us, just as we are, and no one has been us before. We're interested in growing our own story and crafting our own wines, making room here, in old Dobrogea, for a bit more contemporary energy.
