Annika Sorenstam is one of the greatest golfers of all time. During her 15-year, Hall-of-Fame career, she rewrote the LPGA and Ladies European Tour record books, won countless awards, and changed the way women's golf was played, viewed, and covered. Annika's career started at the University of Arizona where she became an NCAA All-American, won the Player of the Year award and was the first freshman or foreigner to win the NCAA Championship. As a professional, Annika had over 95 wins globally, 72 on the LPGA Tour, including 10 majors, and has the only sub-60 round in LPGA history scoring a 59 in the 2001 Standard Register Ping. The Annika Foundation gives back by developing, empowering, and advancing young women around the world through golf and in life. In early 2020, Annika was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, joining only five other golfers who have received the award.
