The Underground Opera Company is one of Australia's leading Opera companies providing audiences the most unique experiences. The name is quite literal. They produce Opera and Broadway experiences underground in mines, tunnels, and caves across Australia. They have taken audiences down mines in Victoria and Queensland, into caves in New South Wales and Queensland or tunnels, power stations and more. Our greatest achievement to date being the activation of a decommissioned underground water reservoir in Brisbane (with the consent of The Brisbane City Council); The Spring Hill Reservoir or, as they like to call it, Brisbane's Underground Opera House.
