Saki Kumagai
Saki is a defender / midfielder footballer, currently playing for German club FC Bayern Munich. She is captain of her national team, Japan, and considered a hero in her country since she scored the winning World Cup-goal against the USA in 2011. She has recently become an ambassador for Nadeshiko Care charity, which aims at helping young football players.
Highlights of her career include receiving a nomination for Ballon d’Or in October 2018, wining a silver medal at the 2012 London Olympic Games as part of the Japanese Olympic team and winning the World Cup with Japan in 2011, scoring the winner in a penalty shootout.
