The Letter J Supply
Joanne is drawn to the power of words. In her practice, Lim uses words as parameters to imagine and express form. Her spontaneous and thoughtful works deviate from conventional calligraphic forms and are imbued with a distinctive sensibility. Originally trained in graphic design and with a background in advertising, she now runs The Letter J Supply, a studio that creates original artworks and runs workshops with a focus on calligraphy. Her work has been exhibited at The Esplanade, Singapore and featured in various publications.
