Fernando Torres

Fernando Torres is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a striker for clubs such as Club Atlético de Madrid, Liverpool F.C, Chelsea F.C, AC Milan, and Sagan Tosu. During the most prolific goalscoring spell of his career, he became the fastest player in Liverpool history to score 50 league goals at the time. During his time at Chelsea, Torres won the FA Cup, the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League, where he scored in the final. Torres also won the Europa League with Atlético in 2018. Internationally he has been capped over 100 times and is his country's third-highest goalscorer of all-time. With Spain, he has participated in six major tournaments from 2004 – 2012, winning three and scoring in both the Finals of UEFA Euro 2008 and UEFA Euro 2012, also in 2010 he was World Champion with Spain in South Africa.
