Chef Jonathan Benno's career spans over three decades working in and running some of the world's most celebrated kitchens including The French Laundry, Per Se, and Lincoln Ristorante. He built his first eponymous fine-dining restaurant at the meticulously restored 1905 hotel, The Evelyn. The design, cuisine, and service at Benno all aim to create a sense of elegance and refinement, but also fun and celebration. The menu and beverage program focus on the area where Northern Italy and Southern France meet at Liguria and Provence, also highlighting other regions along the Mediterranean coast. Benno was awarded 1 Michelin Star in 2020 and received a standout 3-star review in the New York Times.
