Mosaic Studio
For two centuries, mosaics have been the family business of Lorenzo Cassio and his descendants. Lorenzo was the Director of the Vatican Mosaic Studio in the early 20th century. His son, Fabrizio, established the Studio Cassio workshop in the center of Rome in 1947 and restored entire archaeological and monumental complexes, as well as creating mosaics for more than three hundred churches, museums and private and public buildings all over the world, including the IMAGINE floor mosaic for the mosaic for John Lennon's Memorial in Central Park in New York.
