Marlene & Jeff are founders of The Refined Cook, whose mission is to teach and bring healthy, gourmet cooking into homes through fun culinary social events. In addition to being culinary educators, Marlene is a jazz musician who brings improvisation both in her music and in the kitchen and Jeff is a graphic arts designer, and a wine and whisky consultant and auctions purveyor. Class menus are eclectic, reflecting their love of world cuisines from travels in Asia, Patagonia, the Himalayas, the Andes, the Amazon jungle, and their cycling trip through the French Dordogne region.
