Alice Brophy Richardson moved to Santa Barbara in 2005 to manage a high-end retail boutique specializing in designer vintage and to work in fashion appraising private wardrobe collections while studying fashion journalism at The Academy of Art University. Her work with private clients expanded to include personal styling and wardrobe planning including event fashion styling. Since 2012 Alice has dressed the co-chairs of Santa Barbara’s famous Lotusland Celebrates, an annual event that draws the global fashion elite to California’s central coast working with brands including Valentino and Oscar de la Renta and landing clients on the cover of the LA Times style section and on vogue.com.
