Napa Valley Museum Yountville

Museum

Situated mid-valley in the historic town of Yountville, between St. Helena and Napa in one of the world’s culinary capitals, the Napa Valley Museum Yountville is dedicated to enriching the cultural fabric of our community through exhibitions, collections, educational programs and creative activities that promote knowledge and understanding of art, nature and history. In the Main Gallery, the Museum presents an exciting schedule of major revolving art exhibitions, including world premieres like “France is a Feast: the Photographic Journey of Paul & Julia Child,” and “Walt Disney’s Trains.” In the Spotlight Gallery, the Museum presents changing exhibitions from major regional artists, plus local and student showcases. And in the History Gallery, The Land and People of Napa Valley presents the Valley’s history through its extensive permanent collection of approximately 15,000 items including mineralogical and geological specimens, Native American artifacts and items of cultural heritage from 1830 to the present, representing the history of Napa Valley as a worldclass wine producing region. With hands-on participatory exhibits and family-friendly activities, the Museum has something to inspire visitors of all ages, languages and interests.
