After many years in the restaurant business, both as a restaurant owner and chef, Claesson retrained as a teacher. But when the interest in his baits grew, he decided to dedicate himself full-time to the bait business Svartzonker Sweden. Today Svartzonker produces both bait and rods and is respected internationally for its craftsmanship and delivering great results. Claesson is also famous for hosting the tv-shows Fiskefeber, where he took Swedish celebrities fishing, and Kniven mot strupen, where he went back to his role as chef, helping struggling restaurants. He can now add author to his résumé as well, with the recent publication of his book Slackhugg!, a lifestyle, food and fishing guide for both fishing and food enthusiasts.
