There are around 5,000 sea creatures teeming in an area 1,800 m² in size at SEA LIFE Berlin, which gives its visitors an insight into fascinating worlds underwater. Parents and children can embark on an exciting discovery journey here that takes them past 35 basins designed to mirror nature. In the "nursery," the breeding station, shark and ray eggs lie waiting to release their new brood of fish into their wet universe, and in the touching basin, children can experience starfish and crabs up close. While stingrays, houndsharks and catsharks swim around majestically and tranquilly in the deep-sea Atlantic Ocean basin, the daily feeding session is a unique and rather turbulent experience.
