Vyšehrad National Cultural Monument
The history of Vyšehrad is closely tied with the growth of Prague boroughs and the history of the Czech nation. The labyrinthine casement system began in the 17th and 18th centuries in connection with the building of a Baroque bastion fortress and served for the rapid deployment of troops.
