You'll start by meeting a closed community of female brewers to taste their small-batch wines and vinegars and witness how local sugarcane vinegar is crafted. You'll then arrive at the UNESCO-listed Paoay Church and peruse the local market for souvenirs and to admire local produce, including rare gamet seaweed. Plus, you'll enjoy a hands-on cooking lesson led by a heritage recipe expert, during which you'll use seasonal endemic ingredients to prepare iconic Ilocos empanadas. - If the experience needs to be rescheduled, Trining's Kitchen Stories shall notify cardholders at least 1 week in advance
- For cancellations made 1 week in advance, deposit may be transferred to another reservation; for cancellations made 1 week within the reserved time, deposit shall be forfeited
- Participants will be picked up for the experience from their lodging or meet-up location, and must inform Chef Jayson Maulit of the pick-up spot
