    Engage deeply in the rich traditions of Peranakan culture on an intimate visit to The Intan led by its owner, the renowned Singaporean collector Alvin Yapp. You'll be welcomed into the colourful, private museum inside Alvin's home, typically accessible only by appointment, where you'll discover his award-winning collection and gain insight into vibrant Peranakan heritage that blends Chinese and Malay influences. You'll also have the rare opportunity to view Alvin's assortment of intricately embroidered traditional Peranakan kebaya garments, featured on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, which aren't usually showcased during museum visits.     • Photography is welcome on the lower level of the house
    • Visitors with walking aids may choose to enjoy the exhibits on the lower level (the team can bring down pieces from the second gallery)
