Watch rugby star Bryan Habana interview fellow sports legends
Priceless Questions by Bryan Habana

Enter for a chance to submit your own Priceless Questions for Habana or one of his guests, from cricket champions to world-renowned footballers.

Get the ultimate insider’s perspective on the world of sports during Bryan Habana’s new Priceless Questions interview series, which invites the rugby legend to sit down for a chat with some of the world’s top athletes. Considered one of the greatest rugby players in history, Habana is inviting his equally impressive friends to join him for these interactive video Q&A sessions that will be broadcast across Mastercard’s social channels.

The first episode features Habana in conversation with Wasim Akram, former captain of the Pakistani national cricket team and current international sports commentator and TV personality. Gather the cricket fans in your family for this rare opportunity to hear from one of the greatest bowlers of all time.

Even if you’re not a rugger or a cricketer, these legend-to-legend interviews are a great way to stay connected to the sports and athletes you care about while you’re staying at home—and you can even get involved yourself. Mastercard cardholders can register for a chance to submit up to two questions to be used during an upcoming interview.

Simply visit priceless.com to RSVP. The first 20 qualified cardholders will be contacted with details on how to submit their questions. You could submit a question for Habana to ask his celebrated guest, or for Habana to answer himself—or, better still, a question for each. Then watch out for your name, as every cardholder whose questions are asked gets an honorary mention during the show.

Habana’s next guest will be Marcel Desailly, the Ghana-born former French football star with multiple championships to his name. Start thinking of questions now: you might ask him to describe his greatest memory as a club-level or international-level player, get his advice on staying fit at home, or request a pro tip to improve your own game. You could even ask who gave him his nickname, “The Rock,” which describes his hard-charging style of play.

Wondering what to ask Habana? You could get him talking about the highlights of his unforgettable 2007 Rugby World Cup championship. Already a popular player at the time, he was elevated to hero status in his native South Africa when he led the national team to victory that year, scoring a record-tying eight tries. Or, ask him what it was like to move from South Africa to French club Toulon in 2013. You could even go further back and ask what made him decide to switch to rugby as a kid from his original sport, football. (Habana’s parents named him after two football legends.)

Whether or not you submit a question, the interviews are a pleasure to watch for sports fans of all ages. Each episode will feature plenty of banter, laughs, and insights from Habana and his guests. They’ll touch on their backgrounds in their respective sports, discuss what they’re doing now that the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is keeping players off the pitch, and offer their own words of encouragement.

Guests for upcoming shows will be announced here on Priceless.com, so check back frequently for this and other virtual Priceless experiences.
