After planting milkweed in her garden and learning to grow her own Monarch Butterflies, Darlene was encouraged to start a business to help others have the same experience. The transformation process of butterflies is symbolic of new beginnings, and raising butterflies is a rewarding and therapeutic process. Darlene is also a proud Hawaii member of the International Butterfly Breeders Association, which is the largest and oldest professional butterfly farming trade association.
