Boo Weekley

Born July 23, 1973, Boo currently lives in Jay, Florida, with his wife Karyn and his two boys, Thomas Parker and Aiden O’Neal. Boo graduated from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College where he graduated with a degree in turf grass science. He turned professional in 2002 and earned his PGA TOUR card in 2006. He is an avid hunter and fisherman, is one of the most popular personalities on the PGA TOUR, and has been a Mastercard Ambassador since 2009.

In 2007, Boo had two top-10 finishes before winning his first TOUR event at the RBC Heritage. He won in dramatic fashion by chipping in on his last two holes and beating Ernie Els by one shot.

In 2008, Boo enjoyed a breakout year by successfully defending his RBC Heritage title and reaching 23rd in the Official World Golf Rankings. He finished the year with four top-10 finishes and played an integral role on the victorious 2008 United States Ryder Cup team.

In 2013, Boo returned to the winner’s circle with a win at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial. In addition, Boo had four top-10 finishes to start the year.

Boo is a humble and laid back fan favorite who enjoys himself on the golf course. During the 2008 Ryder Cup, he was famously filmed riding his driver “cowboy style” down the fairway in one of the more memorable clips in recent golf history.
