Located at 531 Hudson Street in the West Village, Katana Kitten is a Japanese-American bar by bartending ace Masahiro Urushido and Cocktail Kingdom Hospitality’s Greg Boehm and James Tune. It combines the precision, craft, and whimsy of Tokyo’s bars and izakayas with the hospitality of a New York neighborhood watering hole. Katana Kitten offers a rotating selection of Highballs, Signature Cocktails inspired by classics with Japanese ingredients swapped in, Boilermaker variations, along with a definitive selection of Japanese whiskeys. Its bar fare marries Japanese street food and American bar classics. Katana Kitten recently won Tales of the Cocktail’s 2019 Spirited Awards for Best New Cocktail Bar.
