Josh Kun
Author, Scholar, Curator, and Journalist
Josh Kun is an author, scholar, curator and journalist. Kun is Director of the USC Annenberg School of Communication where he is the Endowed Chair in Cross-Cultural Communication and Professor of Communication and Journalism. He is the author of several books and editor of multiple essay anthologies, including three acclaimed collaborations with the Los Angeles Public Library. As a curator and artist, he has worked with SFMOMA, California African American Museum, Getty Foundation, Grammy Museum, Contemporary Jewish Museum, among others. Recent publications include Double Vision: The Photography of George Rodriguez (opening as an exhibition in Fall 2020) and The Autograph Book of L.A., forthcoming in September 2019. He is a MacArthur Fellow and the winner of a Berlin Prize and an American Book Award.
