Root & Bone owners Jeff Mcinnis and Janine Booth are former Top Chef finalists and have both been nominated for numerous James Beard awards for their combined restaurant concepts. In 2013, Jeff and Janine opened the first Root & Bone in New York City, which was an instant success, winning The Best Dish of 2014 by Timeout Magazine and the Best Fried Chicken in NYC by multiple publications. The pair decided to expand the Root & Bone brand to Puerto Rico, before setting their eyes and focus back on their beloved city Miami, FL. The Miami outpost of Root & Bone is a southern inspired restaurant dedicated to consciously sourced farm-fresh ingredients.
