This was an amazing experience! We enjoyed wonderful craft cocktails and delicious appetizers. They called them "small bites," but they were so generous with each course of appetizers. A real winner!!

The bartenders were very friendly and knowledgeable. There was a lot of food and it all paired great with the drinks. The atmosphere is very elegant and cozy. A great date spot.

My boyfriend and I had a great time at China Live. Everyone was so nice and the food was delicious. The bartenders (Cody and Kenny) were also really easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. The whole experience felt very seamless and we really enjoyed our date night!

We planned this as the last event of a team offsite and everyone at China Live was wonderful! The host was so accommodating and the food was delicious. The experience includes a champagne toast to begin, a dumpling folding class, and then a huge meal where you get to sample a variety of items off the menu. One thing to note for others purchasing this class, it is not a full-on cooking class like I had expected. They provide you with the dough and stuffing of two types of dumplings which they then teach you to fold. You are allowed to take your dumplings home with you to eat later but do not eat them there. Overall still a great experience and the food was delicious!

This experience was so much fun. The atmosphere and bar space was lovely, as were all of the bar tenders and hostess that we interacted with. It was a great deal for the price - included one cocktail off the menu and one that was custom created, as well as a delicious cucumber salad followed by a large appetizer sampler platter (included 4 crab rolls, 2 gigantic dumplings, a baked duck pocket and 2 of the most amazing bao buns). We took our time as we enjoyed each snack and drink, and particularly enjoyed Oscar, the man behind the bar who helped us through the cocktail portion. Highly recommend!

We had a great time. We did this as a work team outing and it was fantastic! The dumpling making class was fun and the meal was awesome. Thank you IfOnly and China Live for a great evening. I would definitely come again and recommend to all.

We had the best time at China Live! The food was outstanding. We have 5-6 small plates, which were enough to be a meal for two. They served us any cocktail of our choosing, and then the bartender walked us through a four-part Scotch tasting. The service was amazing, the ambiance is romantic yet social, and the food and spirits were remarkable. It was so easy to schedule, and it was refreshing to not have to think for a change. Will definitely be doing this again!

Amazing experience! I especially enjoyed the perfectly crafted drinks, the many delicious appetizers (the pork buns and the egg rolls were our favorite), and the swanky vibe of the bar. The service was top notch and I would definitely come back again!

This was not really a cooking class, rather than a 20-minute presentation followed by a dumpling dinner. We had hoped for more dumpling and filling making, but ended up making four dumplings total - two different types. It was dissapointig, especially for that price.

Chinatown Community Development Center
The Mission of the Chinatown Community Development Center is to build community and enhance the quality of life for San Francisco residents. We are a place-based community development organization serving primarily the Chinatown neighborhood, and also serve other areas including North Beach and the Tenderloin. We are a community development organization with many roles - as neighborhood advocates, organizers and planners, and as developers and managers of affordable housing we currently provide 4,000 affordable homes to families, seniors, and adults who are struggling to make ends meet in San Francisco.
